Creative Communicator

At Grande Academy, students in Grades 5–7 become Creative Communicators by creating a digital story titled “My Favorite Place”. They use tools like Google Slides or Canva to design visually appealing slides, Book Creator to build interactive digital books, and Padlet to share their work on a virtual wall. Students can add images, record voice narrations using Vocaroo or Google Slides audio, and include royalty-free music from SoundZabound or YouTube Audio Library. They remix and repurpose content (e.g., photos, music, text) to make an original presentation and publish it by sharing the link on a class Google Drive folder or Padlet.

Teacher’s Role:

• Provide a simple template and example.
• Guide students in using digital tools safely and creatively.
• Teach students how to remix and repurpose content ethically.
• Facilitate sharing and peer feedback in a digital space.

• Students express ideas clearly using digital media.
